Abbas(Lenco) Hachem brought Capoeira to Ferris State University in Fall '97. I have been a member since, and helped form Capoeira as a Recognized Student Organization in Spring '98. We spread Capoeira Mandinga by doing demonstrations in the residence halls, taking part in festivals on campus, talent shows, etc.
